CHICO --- The Warriors' men's soccer team's season ended just like how most of the matches in 2007 did -- another one-goal loss. This time it was a 1-0 loss to Chico State in the season finale late Saturday night.
Chico State handed Cal State Stanislaus its ninth one-goal defeat this year as the Warriors ended the campaign with 4-11-4 and 3-8-3 CCAA records. Stanislaus did have two wins and a tie in the last six matches.
"It was just like how the season has gone for us. I am pleased with how the guys plays tonight and kept themselves in the game," CSUS head coach Eric Mild said.
It was the second 1-0 loss to the Wildcats this season. The Warriors also had two 3-2 double OT defeats.
