FRESNO -- At Fresno Pacific, the men's soccer team rallied to even the score late in the game before dropping a second overtime decision to NAIA power Fresno Pacific, 3-2, Saturday night.
Thomas Janz got the Warriors on the board in the 37th minute on a penalty kick, but FPU even the score less than two minutes later on a Amaury Nunes goal.
Trailing 2-1 in the second half,
Alfredo Renteria pulled it even on a free kick at 71:41 to eventually sent the game into overtime.
FPU's Pablo Campos, who assisted on the Nunes score, ended the match in the 108th minute on a breakaway.
With the loss, the Warriors dropped to 1-2-1.
