The Cal State Stanislaus men's and women's basketball teams will resume play this weekend as the Warriors bring in 2010 and a new decade with afternoon matinees at Warrior Arena.
Due to the fact that New Year's Day is on Friday, all CCAA contests around the state scheduled this weekend will be played on Saturday and Sunday. Games here in Turlock are tipping off at 12:30 p.m. with the women's contest, followed by the men's games at 2:30 p.m. both days.
Led by
Katie Busi, the Warrior women last saw action on Dec. 11-12 at the Humboldt State Classic in Arcata. Busi tallied 37 points and pulled 19 rebounds and was named to the all-tournament team but the Warriors lost both contests to fall to 1-5 overall (0-2 in the CCAA).
