CARSON — Four Warriors scored in double digits as the Cal State Stanislaus women's basketball team lead wire to wire in a 79-53 domance over Cal State Dominguez Hills Thursday afternoon.

Jameiz Terrell had her best game as a Warrior with 16 points, including two three-points, and Katie Busi added 15 points for Stanislaus. Andreanna Marshall chipped in 12 points with four steals for CSUS. Gowan also pulled a team-best six rebounds.

The defense again help lead the Warriors as they recorded 15 steals while forcing 29 Dominguez Hills turnovers.

Cal State Dominguez Hills is still looking for its first win this season and falls to 0-9 and 0-5 in CCAA play. CSUDH was led by Nikki Boutte's 15 points.

After starting the game 2-0 without a second of play due to a technical foul on the CSUDH bench, the Warriors jumped out to an 11-1 lead less than four minutes in. The closest the Toros would ever get was at 13:28 in the first half when Boutte nailed a three-pointer for a 15-11 game.

The Warriors cruised from that point on thanks to its strong defense and solid scoring from the four key players.

Stanislaus led 41-29 at halftime and maintained its double-digit lead the rest of the way.  The Warriors' biggest lead was with 86 seconds left on a Theresa Henderson free throw, which made it 79-49.

Cal State Stanislaus made 27 of its 33 free throw attempts for the game. Gowan made all nine of her tries and Marshall was 8 for 11.

The Warriors will end the 2010 calendar year on New Year's Eve when they visit Cal State L.A. for another 12:30 p.m. game on Friday.
