SAN FRANCISCO —

Guzman scored nine minutes in and the Warriors went on to built a 3-0 lead against a solid Gator side. With the victory, Stanislaus improves to 2-0-1 on the season and 1-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association before taking on Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday.
San Francisco State, now 2-1-0 and 0-1, had gone 2-0 in its non-conference season outscoring opponents 8-1.

Dana Taylor said. "Our guys did a great job of battling and sticking to our game plan."
Guzman's goal came at 8:56 after a corner kick from
Arturo Pulido. The corner kick was the result of a
Jio Santana shot that had hit the post.
The match remained 1-0 until the Warriors struck again in the 70th minute with a Jose Velasquez goal. Velasquez too hit the cross bar and got the rebound for the finish.
Andres Zamora then capped off the Stanislaus scoring converting on a penalty kick at 73:03 for a 3-0 lead.
Friday's three goals were by three Warriors who scored their first goal of the year, bringing the team's total to 11 different players with at least a score. CSU Stanislaus has now outscored its opponents 12-5 in three contests.
