Looking to Snap Out of It
Cal State Stanislaus has lost four of its last five CCAA games and is looking to end the skid Friday night when the Warriors host Cal State L.A. The Warriors will also host Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday night.

Tough Times Against Southern Teams
Last weekend proved to be tough as third-ranked UC San Diego had little trouble against the Warriors in a 83-61 win. Fatigue was a factor the following night as Cal State San Bernardino beat the Warriors, 65-59.

Home Sweet Home
Cal State Stanislaus is in the middle of a stretch when it will play eight of 10 games at home. The Warriors started the homestand 0-2 and are hosting two more this weekend. After a short trip to Monterey and Hayward, Jan. 20-21, the Warriors will be home for four straight the following two weekends. This season so far, the Warrior women are 3-3 at the Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena (including an exhibition win), where they were an impressive 9-4 in 2010-11.

Two More 24s for No. 21
Theresa Henderson continues put up bigger numbers than her jersey number as No. 21 scored 71 points last week. Henderson had 24 points, 10 rebounds with three blocked shots and three steals against UC San Diego. The following night, Henderson netted 24 points with 11 rebounds, plus a blocked shot and a steal. For the weekend, she scored 48 points with 21 rebounds on 19 -for-46 shooting. Henderson had scored 23 points on Monday at Chico.

Henderson Pulling Away
Theresa Henderson still leads the CCAA in scoring with a 20.3 per game average. By averaging 23.7 points a game last week, she has pull ahead with a little bit of a gap. UC San Diego's Chelsea Carlisle (who scored 10 against the Warriors Friday) is second in scoring with a 16.3 average.

Erin Godde Chipping In
Erin Godde enjoyed a solid night last Saturday with 12 points and seven rebounds for one of her best games (her career highs are 14 points, 8 rebounds). She was 6-for-10 shooting from the field while the rest of the team was 19-for-65 (Henderson was 11-for-22).

Cotton Had Career Game
Freshman Briana Cotton scored 13 points lat Friday for a new career high. She also had three steals, which is also a personal best.

Shooting Long Bombs
Cal State Stanislaus was one of the better three-point shooting teams in the CCAA but this past week's numbers didn't help. The Warriors were 3-for-27 combined (0-for-11 on Saturday) from the three-point line. Before the week, they were ranked fifth in the conference with a 34.1 percentage. They are now down to eighth with a 30.1 percent success rate.

Down to Eight
Due to injuries, the Warriors are down to eight players on the active roster. The short bench means more minutes for players, but fatigue becomes a factor the following night.

Missing in Action
Three Warriors are currently sidelined with injuries with two players out for the rest of the season. Amber Scott and Ashley Navarro are out for the year with ACL reconstruction surgeries. Jasmine Scott is out with a head injury and is awaiting evaluation and clearance. Her return date is to be determined.
