HAYWARD — Whatever was said, whatever happend during intermission worked for Cal State Stanislaus as the Warriors completely turned the match around to beat Cal State East Bay in five sets.

Down two sets to none, the Warriors dominated sets three and four and rallied to beat the Pioneers, 20-25, 21-25, 25-12, 25-17, 15-13. The Warriors have won two straight this week after upsetting Chico State on Wednesday.

Andrea Fett had a tremenous career night with personal highs in all three major statistic categories. She had 23 kills, 17 digs and four blocks to lead Cal State Stanislaus, which improved to 6-10 overall and 3-5 in the CCAA.

Fett got a lot of help from her teammates, too. Janay Bankston picked up 12 kills, Ashley Pittman had 20 digs and Kendal Munoz handed off 46 assists with 14 digs. Jennifer Marsh added nine kills and Melissa Bishop put-away nine.

The Warriors dominated the third set, rolling off to an 8-1 start and led by as much as 21-6. In the fourth, Stanislaus also got out quickly on a 9-1 lead and scored the final four points to win the set.

In the decisive, see-saw battle fifth set, the balance attack was again the Warriors' strength. Bankston and Marsh both keyed the rally with kills at different points and Fett put the match away with strong swings for the final two points.

Hannah Bell had 12 kills and 18 digs to lead the Pioneers (6-9, 1-7 CCAA).

It was the Warriors' third five-set win this season but the first when they rallied back from down 0-2.

Cal State Stanislaus will try to make it three in-a-row for the first time this season -- and the first three-match CCAA win-streak since 2010 -- when it visits Cal State Monterey Bay in Seaside Saturday night.
