Box Score SEASIDE — In four close sets, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters ended the Warriors' tremendous week with a 3-1 win Saturday night.
Andrea Fett had another double-double night with 14 kills and 11 digs but Cal State Stanislaus snapped a two-game winning streak and fell to 6-11 overall and 3-6 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Fett, who had 23 kills and 17 digs in Friday's win over Cal State East Bay, notched her third straight double-double match — all came during the week. She had has four double-doubles this season.
Cal State Monterey Bay, which won 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, improved to 10-7 overall and 4-5 in conference play. Julia Ashen had 18 kills to lead the Otters.
Melissa Bishop had nine kills and seven total blocks.
Janay Bankston and
Jennifer Marsh each had seven kills.
Fett, who also had 15 double-digit kills matches, tallied 49 kills and 37 digs over three matches this week. She led the Warriors to two victories, including an upset win over Chico State on Wednesday and a thrilling come-front-behind five-set win at Cal State East Bay on Friday.
