Box Score TURLOCK — The 24th ranked UC San Diego Tritons had answers for almost-everything the Warriors put up Friday night as Cal State Stanislaus fell in straight sets, 25-15, 25-19, 25-13.

UC San Diego rolled to its seventh straight win to improve to 18-6 overall and 13-3 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association to stay one game behind Cal State San Bernardino -- the Warriors' opponent Saturday night. CSUSB (17-7, 14-2) beat Chico State in four sets Friday night in Chico.

For the Warriors, now 7-17, 4-12 in the CCAA, they were led by Jennifer Marsh's lefty swings with 10 kills (.240 attacking percentage). The next high in kills was four by Melissa Bishop while team-leader Andrea Fett was held to three kills with the Tritons playing defense against her on the outside.

Ashley Pittman led defensively with 11 digs, Kendal Munoz had nine digs and 18 assists.

Sophie Rowe led UCSD with 15 kills and 13 digs. Libero Brittany Lombardi led the way with 19 digs as the Tritons tallied 62 digs and nine total blocks including three solos.
