Briana Cotton was the bright spot for the Cal State Stanislaus women's basketball team on Friday but the Warriors lost to Cal State San Bernardino, 75-42.
Cotton tied her career-high with 14 points but the Warriors dropped their seventh straight and fell to 5-16 overall and 2-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Cotton was 6-for-13 from the field and made two three-pointers to lead Stanislaus. However, the rest of the team was a combined 10-for-38 (.263).
Jameiz Terrell had nine points and nine rebounds and
Lauren Godde scored eight points and pulled a game-best 12 rebounds. It was Godden's fourth 10-rebound outing in the last five games.
Cal State San Bernardino improved to 8-13 overall and 7-10 in the CCAA.
The Coyotes were led by Angela Streets, the CCAA's new leading scorer, with 19 points and eight rebounds. Eliza Dy and Kristen Hoffman each had 16 points. CSUSB shot 50.8 percent as a team.
