In 2010, the tied happened in Hayward on a last second Warrior goal that was later erased due to clock operator-official communications errors. Last year, the Warriors won 3-1 and 3-0.

Series Notes vs. Cal State Monterey Bay: Cal State Stanislaus holds a 9-5-2 advantage over Cal State Monterey Bay. The Warriors are 5-2-1 at home against the Otters including the last two matches here.

NSCAA West Region Ranking: The Warriors are now ranked tied for sixth in this week's NSCAA/Continential Tire Division II West Region poll. No. 1 is Seattle Pacific, followed by 2. Grand Canon, 3. Simon Fraser, 4. Cal Baptist, 5. Sonoma State. Notre Dame de Namur is also at No. 6. No. 8 is shared by Chico State and Montana State Billings while UC San Diego rounds out the top 10.

First Win Against the Toros at Home: Friday's come-from-behind 2-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills was the Warriors' first in Turlock after 10 tries (now 1-9-0). The Toros had dominated the series in Carson as well until Stanislaus beat them last Sept. 28.

One More Assist for Nolan: Nolan Holdridge, who is already the school's leader in career assists, picked up another assist in Friday's win over Cal State Dominguez Hills. His throw-in from the near sideline led to a Kyle Cadigan header score as the equalizer. With three assists on the year, Holdridge now has 13 in his career.

Challenged but Shined: Goalkeeper Clint Long was challenged often on Sunday against Cal State L.A. but he also recorded numerous great saves. During one sequence, Long kick-saved both to his left and right to keep L.A. off the scoreboard in the first half. For the match Long had eight saves.

About Cal State East Bay (1-2-0, 0-1-0 CCAA): The Pioneers lost their last two matches with a 4-0 defeat at Dominican and a 1-0 loss to Sonoma State on Sunday.
