Box Score 2 ROHNERT PARK — The Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team ran into two of the best teams in the GNAC as the Warriors fell twice at the Seawolf Spike hosted by Sonoma State on Friday.
Central Washington put away the Warriors in straight sets, 25-17, 25-17, 25-15 in the morning match. No. 18 ranked Western Washington then won in three, 25-13, 25-21, 25-23, in the afternoon.
The Warriors fell to 2-4 on the season and will face Dominican and Seattle Pacific, another Great Northwest Athletic Conference team, on Saturday.
Eva Chafeh led the team with 11 kills,
Andrea Fett had eight and
Ashley Pittman had 11 digs.
Melissa Bishop led with four total blocks. The Warriors held the advantage over Central Washington (4-1) with 15 blocks (14 assisted).
In the match against Western Washington (5-1), Fett led with 14 kills and
Kendal Muñoz recorded 30 assists.
