Lauren Godde won the head-to-head scoring battle between two of the top scorers in the CCAA, but it wasn't enough as the Cal State Stanislaus women's basketball team dropped to UC San Diego, 87-60, Saturday night.
Godde had another 20-point game and was a sparkling 10 of 18 from the field shooting for a productive night. She scored 20 or more points for the fourth time this season and the second time in the last three games. She also pulled eight rebounds.
Erin Godde also had eight rebounds while
Briana Cotton scored 16 points to chip in.
Cal State Stanislaus, which has lost to UC San Diego for the 19th straight time, fell to 2-11 overall and 1-7 in the Californai Collegiate Athletic Association.
Five UCSD Tritons scored in double digits with Emily Osga leading the way with 18 points (6 of 8 shooting with five three-pointers). CCAA leader scorer Daisy Feder had 16 points.
Godde and Feder are two of the top three scorers in the conference.
