Box Score SAN FRANCISCO — In a game that featured 57 turnovers and 42 fouls, the Cal State Stanislaus women's basketball team fell on the short-end of the contest as host San Francisco State won, 73-58, at The Swamp.
Lauren Godde picked up her sixth double-double of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds but the Warriors dropped their 10th straight and fell to 2-19 overall and 1-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
The game featured two different halves with the first half a low scoring affair. Teams combined to shoot 17-for-51 for 33 percent and a 28-17 score. The Warriors were 4-for-16 and turned the ball over 21 times.
The Warriors, however, had just 10 miscues in the second half to ended up with 31 turnovers. San Francisco State committed 26 turnovers in the game.
Cal State Stanislaus managed a big comeback in the second half. The Gators led by as many as 27 points, 61-34, with 8:17 left to play. A Godde three-pointer started got the Warriors on track and eventually got within 15 points of SF State.
Cal State Stanislaus made it to the foul line for 36 free throws and converted on 29 of them as SF State were called for 26 fouls to the Warriors' 16.
Devin Brown chipped in nine points and
Erin Godde scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds to contribute.
SF State (10-10, 7-9 CCAA) was led by Farrah Shokoor's 16-point, 9-rebound effort.
