CARSON — Breanne Garcia scored 26 points to lead the Cal State Dominugez Hills charge as the Toros blew past Cal State Stanislaus in women's basketball, 90-63, Saturday night inside the Torodome.

Cal State Dominguez Hills won its third straight game by shooting 61.8 percent for the game to improve to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The Warriors allowed 90 points or more for the second time in five games and fell to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the CCAA.

Stanislaus was coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss on Friday at Cal State L.A. — a game the Golden Eagles tied with 23 seconds left and won it at the buzzer in the extra period.

Jasmine Washington led the Warriors with 13 points, Riley Holladay scored 11 and Ana Burch added 10 to lead the Warriors' scoring. Holladay also had a team-best six rebounds with three assists. Camille Roberts, who has been the team's leading scorer, was in foul trouble and ended up just 1-for-3 for two points.

Defensively, the Warriors wasn't able to repeat what they had done this early-season as the Toros only committed 15 turnovers. Stanislaus had forced an average of 29 turnovers per game to create additional shooting opportunities. The Warriors were 18-for-56 for 32.1 percent. They also went to the line often and finished 23 for 35 (65.7 percent).

However, the CSUDH Toros were blazing on offense as they shot 61.8 percent for the game. The Toros opened up a 46-30 lead at halftime thanks to a 16-for-26 first half that included five three-pointers. A Tayler Champion three-pointer gave CSUDH a 21-point, 58-37, lead early in the second half (15:28) to extend the rout.

Stanislaus got within 14 points, 75-61, at 4:33 left, but a 15-2 run by Dominguez Hills closed out the game.

The Warriors travel to face Division I Nevada in Reno on Wednesday before hosting Chico State next Saturday night at Fitzpatrick Arena at 5:30 p.m.,
