Last Time Against the Opponents: Cal State Stanislaus lost 3-1 last Oct. 17 in Arcata, 25-13, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, in tight sets after the Lumberjacks dominated the first game …

Brutal Road Trip: This trip is the toughest in the CCAA with teams having to travel up and down the state. The Warriors will travel North to Arcata on Wednesday for the Thursday night match. Then, they will use Friday as a travel day to get to Southern California, via plane flight out of Oakland to Ontario, before playing the Coyotes Saturday night. By the time they get home Sunday afternoon, the Warriors will have been gone five days and traveled more than 1,500 miles.

Against Ranked Teams: Playing against nationally ranked teams is nothing new for the Warriors in the West Region. The Warriors are currently 0-2 in 2014 and have lost 15 consecutive matches against a team ranked in the AVCA Top 25 … The last victory against a ranked opponent was on Sept. 25, 2010, when the Warriors upset No. 21 UC San Diego, 3-1, in Turlock.
