The volleyball team will be home for three matches, in four days, this week as the Warriors host Chico State, Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Series Notes: Chico State has won five of the last six matches in the head-to-head series and leads 29-11 during the CCAA era (22-10 during CCAA play). Eight of those Stanislaus wins came inside the Fitzpatrick Arena, with the most recent a 3-0 win on Oct. 3, 2012 ... Cal State L.A. has a 10-match winning streak over the Warriors. The last time a Stanislaus team celebrated a win over the Golden Eagles was in 2008 (Nov. 1, 3-2 in Turlock). Cal State L.A. dominated in the all-time series, 29-3 ... The Warriors have more success against Cal State Dominguez Hills, having won three of the last six including a season sweep over the Toros in 2011. Stanislaus won the match here last season, a 3-0 win on Oct. 11.

Last Time Against Opponents: Chico State won the last meeting, on Nov. 6, 2013, in Turlock, in a match that began in thrilling fashion in a 32-30 set one. Chico won the second and third, 25-11. Blair Ehrlich had 13 kills and Paige Walker 10 in that contest ... The Golden Eagles posted a 3-0 win over the Warriors, 25-16, 25-18, 27-25, on Nov. 15, in Los Angeles. Ehrlich was again the top Warrior with nine kills and Jocelyn Cervantes had eight ... Cal Stae Stanislaus lost at Cal State Dominguez Hills, on Nov. 16, in a five-set thriller. After spliting the first four sets (the Warriors won No. 1 and 3), CSUDH rolled over Stanislaus, 15-4, in the fifth ... Ehrlich had 18 kills and 14 digs, Cervantes posted 29 digs and Crystal Tillett 25 digs.

Challenging the Best: Against Cal State San Bernardino last Saturday, the Warriors didn't let the Coyotes' No. 9 national ranking scare them. If fact, it challenged them. The Warriors gave CSUSB all they got playing one of their better matches this season and pushed the Coyotes all the way before the 25-22, 25-20, 25-19 loss ... Jocelyn Cervantes led the team with 12 kills ... The Coyotes won the match at the net, however, with 18 total blocks (10.5 team blocks; 3 solo and 15 assisted).

Moving Up the Top 10 List: With 79 digs this season in a non-libero role, Sarah Crowl has moved up No. 8 on the CSUS career top 10 list with 631 digs. She jumped started her career last year as a freshman with a new single season record of 552 digs ... Hannah Green is now No. 9 on the assists top 10 with 1,118 career assists. She added 153 so far to last year's 965 total.

About Chico State (5-5, 3-3 CCAA): The Wildcats also lost twice last weekend to the same opponents, Cal State San Bernardino and Humboldt State, and snapped a three-game winning streak. As a team, the Wildcats have just 32 total blocks for the year, last in the CCAA. Shannon Boling leads the team with 122 kills (3.70 kills per set)

About Cal State L.A. (7-2, 5-1 CCAA): Cal State L.A. was ranked in the top 25 earlier this season and received votes this week. The Golden Eagles are tied for first place with CSU San Bernardino and have won five of their last six matches. Iona Lofrano averages 4.09 kills per set (135 total), which is third best in the CCAA.

About Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-9, 0-6 CCAA): The Toros are still seeking their first CCAA win. Their only victory came against Fresno Pacific on Sept. 6. CSUDH have lost seven straight since then. CSUDH ranks last in the CCAA in digs and hitting percentage. Alijah Gunsaulus leads the team with 136 kills and 3.78 kills per set.
