After an eight-day break, the Warrior men are on the road to take on Sonoma State and Humboldt State in their final conference trip. Friday's match is the Warriors' first since Oct. 14.

Series Notes: The Warriors are still looking for their first win in Rohnert Park during the CCAA era (0-12-2). Last year the Warriors won at home, 2-0, to snap a five-match winless streak (0-3-2) against the Seawolves … Humboldt State edged the Warriors 1-0 in Turlock last season, ending the Stanislaus State 12-match unbeaten streak against the Lumberjacks (11-0-1).

Within the Ranks: The Warriors debut at No. 5 in the initial NCAA West Region poll, which determines the field for the NCAA Championship tournament with the top six teams advancing. The Warriors (9-2-1 in region) are behind Cal State Dominguez Hills (11-1-2), Cal Poly Pomona (8-1-3), Seattle Pacific (10-1-2), and Cal State L.A. Kuczynski Returns: After missing 3-plus games, Daniel Kuczynski returned to action last weekend against Cal Poly Pomona. He scored his first goal since Sept. 20 in Wednesday's 3-0 win over UC Santa Cruz. He hurt his ankle seven minutes into the match at UC San Diego on Sept. 27.

A Ton of Goals: The Warriors have scored 41 goals this season so far, shattering the previous team record of 36 set in 1998. 12 different Warriors have netted a score with Daniel Kuczynski leading with 10. Jose Ramirez has scored seven goals while Manny Villegas and Ryan Chaney each scored five.

Super Freshman: Freshman Ryan Chaney scored again on Wednesday, giving him five goals this season. The last time a Warrior freshman scored this many goals was Daniel Kuczynski who had six in his first season in 2011.

Having a Nice Year at Home: Stanislaus State has posted a 7-1-1 record when playing at Warrior Stadium. The Warriors had won their first six home matches in Turlock this season and will have two more on home turf to close out the regular season.

CCAA Leaders: Daniel Kuczynski leads the conference with 10 goals and 25 points and Gerardo Cazares is first with six assists. Jose Ramirez is also among the top scorers with seven goals (tied 3rd) and 18 points (3rd). Luis Hernandez and Kuczynski are also tied for second with five assists.

About the Opponents: Sonoma State (8-4-2, 4-3-1 CCAA) is back in the race with thee straight wins, including two CCAA victories last weekend against Cal State San Marcos and UC San Diego. Mitch North leads the league with 55 saves and Brenton Frame has 19 points with seven goals and five assists … Humboldt State (1-9-2, 0-6-2 CCAA) has been out-scored 15-6 in CCAA games. The Lumberjacks are 0-3-1 at home. Christopher Cherms has 47 saves. Braxon Griffin and Chuck Pitts each has two of the team's 10 goals this season.
