TURLOCK — CCAA's top scorer show why she's leading the conference putting up nearly 20 points a night. Jade Blackwell scored at well as she led Cal Poly Pomona over Cal State Stanislaus, 63-46, in front of the largest crowd of the season.
Blackwell, who entered the night averaging 19.1 points a game, went 13 of 18 to finish the night with 28 points. Blackwell made 7 of 9 shots in the first half for 16 of her points. Her three consecutive buckets capped a 12-0 Pomona run that gave the visitors a 25-11 with less than five to play in the first half. And the Broncos never looked back.
Cal Poly Pomona, which led wire to wire from the tip Friday night, improved to 14-5 overall and 12-3 in California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Riley Holladay had 10 points with nine rebounds to lead Stanislaus, which dropped to 6-13 overall and 4-11 in the CCAA. The sophomore forward also had three blocked shots.
Ana Burch chipped in seven points off the bench, but as the team the Warriors shot just 23.4 percent on the night — 19.2 percent in the first half.

Alysa Valentine, the Warriors did made six three-pointers. Valentine had two treys on eight tries.
Cal Poly Pomona shot 43.6 percent as a team for the night. Ariel Marsh added 18 points and four steals to the Broncos' totals.
On Homecoming and alumni weekend, the Warriors enjoyed the largest crowd of the season with 1,324 fans — the largest attendance since Feb. 22, 2002 when 1,523 fans saw the women's game against UC San Diego.
