TURLOCK — A three-run sixth turned out to be the difference in game two of the doubleheader on Friday as the Cal State Stanilaus Warriors opened its final weekend of play with a split against a talented Sonoma State team.
Cassidy Duke belted a two-run home run to highlight the three-run inning to give the Warriors a 6-0 lead as Stanislaus hung on to defeate the Seawolves. With the split, the Warriors are 15-33 overall and 7-27 in the CCAA entering the final day on Saturday.

Nicolette Vizcaino later scored on a double steals play to make it 6-0.
Sonoma State rallied for three runs in the seventh to cut the deficit in half, but the Warriors held on to win.
Natalie Rendon earned the win in teh circle with seven innings pitched while allowing just one unearned run on six hits and striking out eight.
Eight different Warriors each had a hit in the second game as the Warriors out-hit SSU, 8-6.
Sonoma State won game one 5-3.
