RENO - Hoping to cause an upset against the Division I Wolf Pack, the Stanislaus State women's basketball team fell to the University of Nevada, Reno 60-81 on Tuesday morning at the Lawlor Events Center.
With the nonconference game adding to their record the Warriors are now 5-6 overall and remain 2-4 in conference play. The Wolf Pack has advanced to 6-4 overall with their victory over Stan State.
Brittney Livingston was the Warriors' sharpest shooter on Tuesday, scoring 19 points for Stan State. She went 6-for-16 from the field, 2-for-4 from the three-point arc, and 5-for-7 from the free-throw line. Livingston also led the team with four assists and four steals.

Zahria Hendrix scored 16 points against UNR (6-11).
Erika Larsen was the leading rebounder for the Warriors with 10 grabs at the hoop.
As a team the Warriors shot 38.8 percent from the field overall, shooting 40 percent from the three-point arch and 61.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Stan State held their own in the first quarter, gaining a five-point lead (10-5) half way through the period. As the Wolf Pack made a series of free-throws and layups, UNR took back the lead 12-14 to end of the first quarter.
Struggling to keep up to Nevada's quick offense, the Warriors continued to fall further behind throughout the second quarter, at one point giving up a 12-point lead to the Wolf Pack (25-37). A three-pointer and free-throw by Hendrix reduced the gap by four as the team's headed into half time (29-37).
After the intermission Stan State played evenly with the Wolf Pack, unable to permanently decrease the point gap but preventing UNR from taking a bigger lead. The Warriors ended the period down by 11 points, 44-55.
In the final quarter Nevada was too quick for Stan State, gaining a 22-point lead with less than two minutes to go in the game (55-77), a hole that the Warriors were unable to dig their way out of.
Teige Zeller led the Wolf Pack all around with 24 points and 19 rebounds. She was 8-for-11 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free-throw line. Three more UNR players scored in the double digits and one more member of the Wolf Pack had double digit rebounds. As a team Nevada shot 43.1 percent from the field, 30 percent from the three-point arc, and 79.2 percent from the free-throw line.
After heading home for the week, the Warriors will travel to Academy of Art on Friday to take on the Urban Knights at 5:30 p.m.
