RENO – The Stanislaus State women's basketball team fell to Nevada on Tuesday afternoon, 75-52, in an exhibition contest against a Division I opponent.
The Warriors had two players in double-digits, led by
Kyanna Davis with 13 points. The team shot 66.7 percent from the free throw line on Tuesday but were unable to pick up speed in the second half ultimately falling to the Wolf Pack.

The Warriors had a good start offensively only trailing Nevada by five points going into halftime. The Wolf Pack soon took a larger lead and the Warriors were not able to come back. Nevada scored 20 points off of turnovers and led by as many as 25 points in the fourth.

Stan State shot 41.9 percent from the field in the first half but the Warriors fell to a 24.2 percent shooting average from the field in the second half.

The women got as close as three points, 33-30, when
Caitlin Keding started the second half with a jumper. However, Nevada went on a 12-point lead, but the Warriors would come no closer as the Wolf Pack continued to gain momentum.

Keding had 10 points with three assists.
Alexus Kelly came close to her season best in rebounds with nine.

Nevada had three players score double-digits Tuesday. Terae Briggs with 20, Camariah King with 12 and Imani Lacy with ten.

Stan State will take on the Fresno State Bulldogs on Friday, December 14, at 7 p.m. in Fresno in another exhibition contest versus a Division I program.
