Warriors dominate CSUEB with an 8-4 victory to win the series

HAYWARD – Dominating the Pioneers with an impressively efficient offense, the Stanislaus State baseball team went 3-1 in the series as they took the final win against Cal State East Bay 8-4 on Sunday afternoon at the Pioneer Field.

With three more conference wins under their belt the Warriors are now 12-8 overall and 8-6 in the CCAA. The Pioneers have fallen to 7-11 and 4-8 in the conference.

Braeden Oki was 3-for-4 at the plate, hitting a double and scoring three runs. Jarrett Veiga, Michael Wyatt, and Anthony Enwiya each hit a double and Enwiya earned two RBI.

After the Pioneers scored in the first inning, Veiga hit his double in the third to drive Oki to score for the first time. Cal State East Bay tied the game with two runs in the eighth inning, and Stan State retaliated by scoring four runs in the ninth.
