Ryan Kane' successfully converted on a penalty kick try in overtime as Stanislaus State defeated Holy Names, 2-1, at Humboldt State's College Creek Field.
The Warriors complete the stint in Arcata 2-0 with the win. Stan State had defeated Dominican, 2-0, on Thursday.
Sean Bender even the score in the 84th minute as the Warriors peppered the Hawks on offense. The Warriors out-shot HNU 17-5 for the match and 12-3 in the second half.
Kane took the PK at 94:37 and got it through to set-off the celebration. He scored a goal on Thursday, giving him two in two matches.
The physical contest saw a total of 46 fouls (25-21, Stan State).
The Warriors will trek over to Redding to take on Simpson on Monday for an early 11 a.m. match.
