TURLOCK – The Warriors faced their second loss of the CCAA season when Cal Poly Pomona was able to beat out the Warriors' offense by one. Stan State lost in a one goal game, 0-1.
The Warriors fall to 9-2-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the CCAA. Cal Poly Pomona earned their fourth conference win to make their record 4-1-0 and 8-3-0 overall.
GOALS
- The Broncos led the game 1-0 going into halftime. Shayna Larson scored from low center with an assist from Taylor Scott in the 33rd minute. This would lead to be the solo-goal win.
GOALKEEPER NOTES
- In the 33rd minute, Taylor Scott took a PK and Herrman made a beautiful and strong save before Larson came back and was able to score off Scott.
- Alyssa Herrman already had three saves by the end of the first half. By halftime, Herrman had faced eight shots, four of which were shots on goal.
- Alyssa had four saves overall and faced a total of 14 shots on Sunday.

NOTEWORTHY
- The Warriors defeated the Broncos in a one-goal victory the last time they met in September 2018.
- Stan State is 9-14-1 against Cal Poly Pomona since they first played in October 1998.
