TURLOCK – The Warriors played an exciting game on Saturday against the Argonauts of NDNU. After a game of back and forth in the second half, the game continued into overtime where the Argonauts were able to claim the win off free throws. Despite the loss, the Warriors never let their guard down and played to win.

The Warriors fall to 1-3 overall while the Argonauts are now 2-2.

THE FIRST DAY OF THE WARRIOR CLASSIC

  • Leading the team in points for that game was Toler with 12.
  • Notre Dame de Namur beat Cal State East Bay on Friday by one, 60-59.
WARRIORS KEEP ON FIGHTING INTO OVERTIME
  • The Warriors started with the same lineup as they did in Friday's game in the hopes to pull out the same type of win as they did against the Hawks.
  • Going into halftime, it looked as if the Warriors would trail by more but they picked up their momentum and kept the score to a six-point spread, 27-33.
  • Thirty seconds left on the clock, Davis scored to bring the Warriors up to 58! At this point in the game, the Warriors were only down by one.
  • The Warriors were up 60-59 with 25 seconds left in the game.
  • As Stan State had the win locked in, or so they thought, a free throw by the Argos would take the game into overtime.
