OAKLAND — Four Warriors were in double digits in scoring as Stanislaus State used a strong second half to pull away for an 87-77 win over Notre Dame de Namur to open the 2019-20 regular season Friday evening.
Stanislaus State is one of four teams at the two-day Spirit of the Sisters Conference Challenge at Holy Names University to begin the year. The Warriors have now won five straight preseason tournament games since 2017.

Xavier Francois scored 19 points and shot 6 of 10 from the field to lead all players.

Ty Davis netted 17 points, including 6 of 6 at the free throw line, with five rebounds. He scored 13 of his points in the second half.
