Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Cal State L.A.'s sharp shooting from long distance beat the Warriors late

TURLOCK — From the get-go, Cal State L.A. was determined to live or die by the three-pointers. The Golden Eagles were relentless with their long bombs as Cal State L.A. rallied in the second half when its long-range shooting got hot to narrowly defeat Stanislaus State, 61-58, Saturday night.

Fard Muhammad made all six of his three-pointers in the second half — some of them were big — as L.A. handed the Warriors their second CCAA loss of the year as they dropped to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the CCAA.

Cal State L.A. is now 6-4, 2-3.
