SAN DIEGO — The Warriors had a tough time competing in their doubles competitions Saturday afternoon as they lost to Point Loma Nazarene 4-3.
Point Loma went even in singles matches going 3-3 but the doubles are where they excelled. The closest match of the day was at No. 1 singles. Stan State's top player
Cassidy Ferrell beat Point Loma's No. 1, Shelby Groeneveld 6-3, 6-3. At No. 2,
Amila Gogalija defeated Gabi Armas 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Stan State doubles went 0-3 on Saturday.
The Warriors will take on No. 5 Academy of Art on March 2 in San Francisco at 11 a.m.
