TURLOCK — The Warriors finished 0-4 in the two-day series against the Otters of Cal State Monterey Bay after falling 4-1 and 7-3 on Saturday.
The Warriors managed a total of four runs in the doubleheader.
Cassandra Wenn had three hits to lead Stanislaus State.
Stan State is now 2-6 overall with a 0-4 CCAA record. The Otters are now 5-2 overall and 4-0 in conference.
Cal State Monterey Bay was hot up at bat again today. The Otters had a total of 18 hits against Stan State's nine.
Sydnee Machado scored the only run in the opener on a
Lia Tom squeeze bunt. Machado had tripled with one out.
In the second game, Wenn singled to right to scored two runs in the fourth before getting caught in a run-down.
Aliyah Garvin homered in sixth to account for the third run.
Garvin and Wenn each had two hits in the series finale.
Monterey Bay pitchers, Hayley Fein and Celeste Villagrana, both went the distance for the wins in the circle. Korina Krueg led the Otters with three runs in the double header. Brittney Perez hit a homerun.
The Warriors will be back home on Tuesday, to take on Notre Dame de Namur in a single non-conference game at 5 p.m.
