TURLOCK – The Stanislaus State tennis team was finally able to break their five-game losing streak with a victory over Dominican University, 5-2. The team was able to take home five singles matches and one doubles match.
At No. 3 doubles,
Amila Gogalija and
Taylor Galya went 6-3 with Domincan No. 3 doubles Sierra Shackelford and Kaitlyn Nguyen.
No. 49 ranked
Cassidy Ferrell had her seventh win of the season by beating Ofelia Lopez, 6-1, 6-0.
Amila Gogalija won at No. 2 singles with a 7-6(2), 6-0 win over Taylor Lim.
Maria Ochoa won at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6
-0. Kayla Nguyen also pulled out a win over Domincan's Michelle Li 3-6, 6-1, 10-3.

Dominican took the double's point with two wins and No. 4 singles Alex Wartenberg defeated
Sylvana Talamantes, 6-1, 6-1.
