TURLOCK—The Warrior tennis team said goodbye to four seniors on senior day, Sunday, and they took the win over the Hawks 6-1. The lengthy four-and-a-half hour tennis match ended in a victory for the Warriors.
 
At No. 1 doubles, Cassidy Ferrell and Kayla Nguyen won 6-4. Amila Gogalija and Taylor Galya won at No. 3 in their match, 6-3.
 
At No. 1 singles, Ferrell ended her match in a retirement after the Warriors took four before the Hawks. Her sets were 7-5, 3-0 before their match was retired. Kayla Nguyen won in the four spot by another retirement after two sets going unfinished at 2-6, 1-0.
 
 At No. 3, senior, Maria Ochoa, won her match in two; 6-4, 6-2. Taylor Galya won her match in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3. No 6, Sylvana Talamantes won 6-2, 6-4.
 
The women travel to Surprise, Arizona next week to participate in the Pacwest Tournament from April 17-April 20.
