ROHNERT PARK — The Warriors entered their last weekend on Friday as they took on the Seawolves of Sonoma State going 0-2 for the day. Stan State fell to the Seawolves in the doubleheader as they lost 1-3 and 0-8 in game two.
The Seawolves swept the Warriors on Friday after Stan State was coming off a four-game sweep of Humboldt State last weekend. The Warriors fall to 22-31 overall before going into their last doubleheader of the 2019 season on Saturday. Sonoma State improved to 30-17 overall.
The Warriors had a hard time keeping up with the pitching of Teresa Danenberg in game two when
Aliyah Garvin had the only hit against the Seawolves. Stan State went scoreless with no RBI and only one hit in game two.
Despite the tough finale of the day, the Warriors fought in game one going ten innings. After the women scored once in the first inning and the Seawolves scored in the sixth, the teams went scoreless going into extra innings. It wasn't until Jordyn Martinez homered to left field in the bottom of the tenth allowing herself and Julie Davis to score to win the game.
Senior,
Kylie Ragsdale, pitched 6.1 innings only allowing one run.
Megan Stacy came in to pitch in the seventh and took the loss for game one. Stacy struck out two.
Kayla Fajardo went 1 for 5 with the single run.
Alexus Martinez went 2 for 5.
Aliyah Garvin went 1 for 4 with an RBI and stole two bases.

Makenzie Sylvester both went 1 for 1.
The Warriors will be back in Rohnert Park tomorrow to conclude their season in a doubleheader starting at noon.
