FRESNO—Against the Sun Birds of Fresno Pacific, the Stanislaus State women's tennis team came up short to lose for the first time in six matches. Fresno Pacific had relatively easy time with the 5-2 win.

Cassidy Ferrell was the single match to win during the singles competition when she beat No. 1 singles, Marina Lex, 6-0, 6-0.
 
The doubles competition went well for Stan State as all three teams came out with wins. At No. 1 doubles, Cassidy Ferrell and Kayla Nguyen beat Ioanna Lathorui and Gaya Soloman in a 6-3 match. At No.2 doubles, Megan Hagerty and Maria Ochoa won their match 7-6 (3). Amila Gogalija and Taylor Galya were successful over Alice Di Matteo and Sanne Brull with a win of 6-2.

The Warriors will be home on Sunday, April 7, to take on UC Santa Cruz at Noon.
