Vida Faniel struggled mildly shooting from the field, but he made up for it at the free throw line when it mattered the most as Stanislaus State escaped a chaotic finish with a win over Cal State Monterey Bay, 57-56.
The Warriors remain in fifth place in the CCAA Standings, keeping pace for the top group, at 8-5 in league play. Stan State improved to 12-6 overall.
Cal State Monterey Bay is now 6-13, 3-10 CCAA.
