TURLOCK — The top scoring offense in the CCAA continues to roll as No. 6 UC San Diego won its sixth straight game with a 74-60 win over Stanislaus State Thursday night.
The Division I bound Tritons jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they remain atop of the conference standings at 8-1 (14-1 overall).
Stanislaus State suffered another loss at home and dipped to 9-5 overall and 5-4 in the CCAA, but remains fifth in the league standings.
Top Warriors of the Night
• Despite being in foul trouble,
Xavier Francois led with 12 points on 3 of 8 shooting. He made 6 of 8 free throws. He collected his third foul at 8:45 in the first half.

Ty Davis scored 11 points and led the team with six rebounds. He also had four assists.
•
Fred Lavender scored 11 points off the bench by going 3 for 3 from the field and 5 of 6 from the foul line.

Kainoa Ballungay chipped in eight points, all of them in the first half.
UC San Diego's sharp shooting
• The Tritons made 14 three-pointers, seven in each half. They were 14 of 32 for 43.8 percent from behind the arc.
• UCSD was 9 for 17 on two-point tries.
• Tyrell Roberts (22 points, 5 three-pointers) and Christian Oshita (20 points, 5 three-pointers) led the way.
Looking for first home win
• The Warriors are now 0-3 in games at Fitzpatrick Arena this season with losses to Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State L.A., and now UC San Diego.
• Stan State is 9-2 on the road this season.
• They will be looking for their first home win Saturday against Cal State San Marcos. Stan State won last year's game in the series in Turlock on Jan. 10, 2019.
Against Ranked Teams
• Stan State falls to 3-11 in the last 14 games against nationally ranked teams.
• The last time the Warriors beat a Top 10 team was Dec. 1, 2018, when they took down Cal Poly Pomona, 78-71, in overtime in Turlock.
