ROHNERT PARK — The Warriors snapped a four-game losing streak in a huge way as they blew past Sonoma State, 74-60, on the road at The Wolves' Den Thursday night.
A second half run by Stanislaus State held-off a Sonoma State surge as the Warriors improved to 14-10 overall and 10-9 in the CCAA.

WARRIORS OF THE NIGHT

Vida Faniel returned to the line-up after missing four games and scored 12 points on 5 of 7 shooting. He also had five rebounds.

Darius Scott had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. It was his first double-double this season. He also had four assists with three steals.
•
Ty Davis scored in double-digits for the sixth straight game with 13 points.
•
Xavier Francois scored 10 points with five rebounds.
HOT SHOOTING NIGHT
• Stanislaus State shot 55.9 percent on the night, hitting 33 of 59 field goals. The Warriors were 8 for 17 (47.4 percent) from the three-point arc.
• The Warriors surpassed the 50 percent shooting mark for the fifth time. The 55.9 percent is a CCAA-season high and the second best tally of the year (60.9 on Nov. 9 against Holy Names).
• The 47.4 percent three-point field goal game is the Warriors' second best of the season. They shot 48 percent (12 for 25) on Jan. 4 at Humboldt State.
HOLDING OFF THE SEAWOLVES
• Sonoma State got within one, at 43-42 with 14:57 to play in the second half.
• However, an 18-2 run by the Warriors during a seven-minute stretch made it 61-44.
• The run was highlight by back-to-back three-pointers by
Ty Davis and
Vida Faniel.
• SSU tried to mount another comeback, but a
Cameron Browne three-pointer at 5:28 made it 64-47 to put the Seawolves away for good.
ROAD WARRIORS
• The Warriors are now 11-5 in games away from Turlock this season. The 11 wins tied for the most in a season during the CCAA era.
• Stan State is 9-4 in "road games" (not counting neutral site), which is the best mark during the CCAA era.

• Stan State remains at No. 6 in the standings behind fifth place Cal State East Bay, which only plays once this week on Saturday (CSUMB).
• With three games remaining, the Warriors have a 1 1/2 game lead on seventh place Cal State San Marcos and a three game advantage on Cal State L.A. for eighth.
