Tinsley throws complete game, No. 19 Warriors improve to 10-1

HAYWARD — Rylan Tinsley threw a complete game and the Warriors offense keeps on hitting as No. 19 Stanislaus State defeated 8-2 win over Cal State East Bay to start the four-game series.
 
The Warriors improved to 10-1 (4-1 in CCAA), the best start since the 2006 team which the year winning 14 of the 16 games.
 
Cal State East Bay suffered its loss of the season and dropped to 8-1, 4-1 CCAA.
 
Friday's Stars
Rylan Tinsley dealt his first complete game of his career. He threw nine innings and gave up two runs on four hits. He struck out three and walked two to improve to 4-0. He threw 109 pitches.
Dylon Jackson went 2-for-4 and drove in a run.
Alexis Paz was 2-for-5 with a double and drove in two scores.
Matt Elser extended his hitting streak to seven games. He also drove in two runs.

Alexis Paz doubled to left-center to score two runs.
