TURLOCK — A five-run inning blew open the game while Warrior ace
Rylan Tinsley put up more zeros as No. 20 Stanislaus State opened the series with a 9-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay Friday night.
The Warriors improve to 12-3 overall and 6-3 in the CCAA while increasing their home mark to 10-1 this season.

Dylon Jackson went 4-for-5 and drove in three runs as he personally out-hit the Otters.
• Jackson drove in two runs in the first inning to help Stan State to a 3-0 lead early.

Matt Elser went 3-for-4 including a double.

Erek Bolton had two hits. He also drove in a run in the first inning.

Rylan Tinsley improved to 5-0 with seven shutout innings. He gave up just three hits and struck out six — five of the Otters struck out looking.

Tommy Stropky threw the final two innings without giving up a hit.
