"I'm very proud of these ladies with how well they played during this NorCal tournament. They learned how to play as a team," said Murdock.

WORDS FROM COACH
"They started off timid in our first match against Holy Names, but fought back in the last few sets. We learned that we need to be more aggressive at the net and put pressure early on in the first set. We were able to do that with our next match against a great team, Fresno Pacific," said Murdock. "I'm excited to see how they play for the So Cal tournament next week. It will be a tough tournament, but if we put pressure on the teams early, serve well, and continue to be aggressive at the net we will do very well!"

UP NEXT
The team will travel to Carson to participate in a SoCal tournament where they will play four games starting on Thursday, September 9th. Their first game will be against Azusa Pacific and later in the evening, they will take on Cal State Dominguez Hills.
