Offensive Struggles End in a Tough Loss at Nevada

TURLOCK, Calif. – The Warriors concluded their three-straight games of the weekend in Reno, Nevada against the Wolf Pack for a Sunday afternoon matchup. Coming off of one of their best scoring games of the season Saturday evening against Academy of Art, the team had their lowest scoring game in a tough loss to UNR.

Da'Myiah Lewis once again led her team in scoring with eight points and three steals on the day, followed by Iman Addison who got things done in the paint with seven points, three rebounds, and a steal. Nevada started the game with a 12-0 scoring run, after Liliana Marques' three-pointer was the only point scored for the opening five minutes of the game. The Warriors sent the Wolf Pack to the foul line ten times in the first period and found themselves down by 24 in the first half.

Addison connected on all six of her points from the field in the third quarter alone, but the Warriors stagnant offense and turnovers made it hard for the team to bounce back from the deficit.

UP NEXT: Stan State will be back at the Fitz Wednesday night for a Thanksgiving Eve matchup against Fresno Pacific at 5pm.
