TURLOCK, Calif.---  As announced this morning by the United Soccer Coaches, the Stan State duo of Alexis Brewah and Sabrina Cabrera were named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II All-West Region Team. 

This is the third post-season team that both Brewah and Cabrera have been named to this season.  Brewah was the CCAA Newcomer of the Year while earning All-CCAA First Team honors.  She also was a First Team D2CCA All-West Region honoree.  Cabrera was the CCAA Midfielder of the Year and a Second Team All-CCAA honoree. The junior transfer was named to the Second Team D2CCA All-West Region Team. 
 
In her first season as a Warrior, Brewah scored a team leading ten goals and had a team high nine assists.  She led the Warriors with her 29 points.  Of her ten goals, two were game-winning goals in their 3-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills and 2-1 come-from-behind win over Cal State Los Angeles.  After Stan State's victories over Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Pomona, Brewah was named the CCAA/Pixellot Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.  That weekend, she scored a goal and assisted on three others for the Warriors.
 
Heading into this week's NCAA Division II Fall Festival, Brewah is 14^th in the nation in assists/game, 20^th in total assists, 29^th in points per game and 37^th in total points.  She is tied for the CCAA lead in assists and second in goals scored and total points. 
 
Cabrera scored seven goals for Stan State this season and assisted on another for 15 points.  She recorded a team high leading four game-winning goals.  They came in the Warriors' 4-2 win at Fresno Pacific, 2-0 win over Biola, 1-0 win, 1-0 win at Cal State Monterey Bay and 3-1 victory over Cal Poly Pomona.  She started in 13 of the 16 matches she played in this season for the Warriors.
 
The South Das Polos, Calif., native is 44^th in the nation in game-winning goals heading into this week's NCAA Division II Fall Festival.  In the CCAA statistics report, Cabrera is tied for second in game winning goals, fourth in total points and tied for fourth in goals scored. 
 
Both Brewah and Cabrera will be placed on the All-American Team ballot which will be announced either later this week or early next week.
 
Stan State, under the guidance of head coach Gabriel Bolton, finished the 2022 season as CCAA Co-Regular Season Champions with Sonoma State.  The Warriors finished with a 10-4-4 overall record and a 7-2-2 CCAA record.
