TURLOCK -- The Stanislaus State women's basketball team snapped its recent skid Saturday with a big win over Cal State Monterey Bay, beating the Otters, 75-49, in a California Collegiate Athletic Association contest at Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena.
Four Warriors (12-7, 7-6 CCAA) finished in double figures, led by
Liliana Marques' 23 points.
Da'Myiah Lewis scored 14,
Kaleigh Taylor scored 13, and
Taylor Pilot added 10. Pilot nearly had a triple-double with eight rebounds and eight assists as well.
Cal State Monterey Bay was led by 12 points from Rebecca Castillo. The Otters (2-15, 1-12 CCAA) were held to less than 30% shooting in three of four quarters, and scored less than 10 points in both the third and fourth periods.
