TURLOCK --Â Cal State Dominguez Hills won Friday's California Collegiate Athletic Association series opener against the Stanislaus State Baseball team with six extra-base hits - four of them going over the fence - as the Toros won game one, 11-1, at Warrior Field.
The Toros (9-6, 4-1 CCAA) hit four homers Friday night, scoring seven of their 11 runs with balls that went out of the park. Stanislaus State (4-6, 2-3 CCAA) has now allowed double-digit runs in back-to-back games after not allowing more than seven in any of its first eight contests.
Trevor McInerney was the lone Warrior with a multi-hit performance, going 2 for 4 from the leadoff spot. He's reached base in all 10 of the Warriors' games in 2022 and hits in nine of 10.
