ROHNERT PARK — The Stanislaus State baseball team held a lead, tied the game, and only trailed by one, all in the same game on Sunday at Sonoma State, but the Seawolves pulled away late for a California Collegiate Athletic Association, series-clinching, 8-4, win at Seawolf Diamond.

The Warriors (10-23, 8-20 CCAA) held a 1-0 lead after getting on the board in the top of the first inning. They tied the game at 2-2 in the third after Sonoma State (13-20, 9-11 CCAA) took a 2-1 lead. And after the Seawolves scored three runs in the bottom of the third, they scored single runs in the top of the fourth and fifth innings to pull within one at 5-4.
