TURLOCK – The Warriors continue their hot streak as they won their third straight match against Biola University Saturday evening.
Stan State was up against blazing heat and the physical defensive squad of Biola. With a first half stalemate with little action from either team, the Warriors were able to catch fire in the second half to finish the night 2-0. Both teams were fairly even in the shooting department with 12 attempts from the Warriors and 11 from the Eagles for the night. The match also saw an even split of six shots on goal from each squad as Goalkeeper
Alexia Estrada denied all shooters with six saves to secure her first shutout of the season.

Sabrina Cabrera sparked the Warriors' second half scoring effort, turning the corner on the defense to rip a goal to the left corner in the 64
th minute from

Alexis Brewah finished out a successful two-goal week, scoring her second goal in Saturday's contest with a one-on-one breakaway score with lead passes from
Taylor Lucas and
Makeila Yancey in the 75
th minute.
The two-score shutout now brings the group to 3-0-1 for the season. They will look to keep the streak alive in a Thursday night home game against Sonoma State at 7pm.
