CARSON, Calif.--- Travion Williams' free throw with 1.7 seconds left in regulation gave the visiting Stan State Warriors the 66-65 come-from-behind victory over the Cal State Dominguez Hills this evening at the Torodome in Carson. Calif.
Jeremiah Jones paced the Warriors as he tied his career high with 14 points. Williams finished with his second double-double of his career with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Marlon Short chipped in 11 points for the victors.

Benno Zecic and
Kobe Ordonio each had eight points for Stan State.
FIRST HALF: Cal State Dominguez Hills (8-11, 4-9 CCAA) took a 18-9 lead at the mid-way mark of the first half on a jumper by Cameron Barry. A
Matt Bender lay-up capped a 10-0 run by the Warriors as they cut the Toro lead to 19-18 with 5:48 left in the first half. Jordan Hilstock's three-pointer with a little under two minutes left in the half capped a 20-5 run by the Toros as they took a 39-23 lead. A
Jeremiah Jones' jumper cut the Toro lead to 39-25 heading into half-time.
SECOND HALF: Stan State cut its deficit to 45-34 on a three by
Kobe Ordonio off a pass from
Daniel Ameyaw in the first three minutes of the second stanza. The Toros increased their lead back to 16 (50-34) at the 15-minute mark of the half.
Marlon Short's two free throws cut the Toro lead to 56-51 as the Warriors outscored their hosts 17-6 in the next seven minutes. A three by Cameron Barry increased CSUDH's lead to nine (61-52), but Stan State didn't go away. A three by

Benno Zecic capped a 13-4 run by the Warriors to tie the game at 65-65 with just 1:55 on the clock. Stan State held the Toros without a field goal in the final two minutes. With just 1.7 seconds left in regulation,
Travion Williams was fouled and connected on one of his two free throws to give the visitors the 66-65 come-from-behind road win.
JJ: Jeremiah Jones tied his career high with 14 points off the bench this evening for the Warriors. Jones went six-for-12 from the field while connecting on one of his three three-point field goals. He also had two steals and two assists for the victors.
BACK-TO-BACK DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Travion Williams finished with his second consecutive double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds this evening. Williams secure the Warriors' 66-65 come-from-behind victory with a free throw with 1.7 seconds left in regulation. He went five-for-seven from the field and had two steals in 35 minutes.
NINTH STRAIGHT: Marlon Short recorded his ninth straight game with double digits in scoring with his 11 points this evening. Short has scored in double figures in all but two games for Stan State this evening. He had three field goals this evening and went a perfect five-for-five from the line.
MOVIN' ON UP: Benno Zecic had eight assists this evening to go with his four steals, five rebounds and eight points. Zecic now has 269 for his career as a Warriors and 128 this season. He is in fifth place on the Warrior career list and 28 assists from moving into fourth place. The redshirt-junior is in 11
th place on the single season list and six from moving into tenth place.
26 OFF THE BENCH: Stan State's bench outscored the Toro bench 26-16 including 14 from
Jeremiah Jones.
Mahda Fallay tied his season high with eight points while
Matt Bender added four points for the Warriors' bench.
TIED FOR SIXTH PLACE: The Warriors are tied with Chico State for sixth place in the CCAA regular season season standings. They are just a half-game out of fifth place (Cal Poly Pomona) and one game out of fourth place (Sonoma State). The top six teams at the end of the regular season will receive a bid to the CCAA Basketball Championships which will be held March 2-4 at Stan State. The winner of the championships will receive the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championships.
