TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State Warriors' volleyball team will face three opponents including two conference opponents in the next seven days. Stan State begins the week with a 5pm match this Friday, October 6 in Hayward against Cal State East Bay. The Warriors continue their week with a 3pm match this Saturday, October 7 in Seaside against Cal State Monterey Bay. They will host No. 18 Chaminade on Monday, October 9 at 1pm in Education Day which 600 local elementary school students will be in attendance.
RECAP OF WEEKEND: The Warriors went 0-2 on the road last week with three-set losses at then No. 14 Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Marcos.
Alex Byrd had 13 kills with just one error in 25 attempts for a .480 hitting percentage to lead the Warriors.
Ellison Weaver added 14 kills with
Mariah Iosua recording 11.
Haley Burdo had 29 assists in the two matches with
Eyriana Eatmon with 14.
Rein Bocage had four service aces with Eatmon adding three.
Gabby Rawson had a team high 29 digs with Bocage with 15 and Burdo 13. Byrd had a total six blocks and
Autumn Kirby recording five.
UPDATE ON THE WARRIORS: Stan State is 6-8 overall and 1-5 in the CCAA entering this weekend.

Gabby Rawson with ten. Rawson leads the team with here 286 digs while Burdo has 103, Iosua 94, Bocage 82, and Eatmon 75. Byrd leads Stan State with her 59 total blocks followed by Kirby with 41.
HEAD COACH LAUREN FLOWERS: In her first season in 2022 at the helm of the Warrior volleyball team became Stan State's all-time winningest team with its .655 winning percentage. The Warriors finished with a 19-10 overall record with the 19 wins tying for the most in school history. They finished in sixth place and qualified for the CCAA Volleyball Championships. In her two seasons, Flowers is 25-18. With the Warriors' win over then No. 21 Alaska Anchorage in the Denali State Bank Ice Block Classic, Flowers has guided Stan State so three victories over top 25 teams. In 2022, the Warriors defeated then No. 25 Winona State (3-0 in Carson) and No. 13 Cal State San Bernardino (3-2 in Turlock).
MOVIN' ON UP: Haley Burdo is seventh with 106 service aces and eighth with 1405 assists on Stan State's top ten career list.

Ellison Weaver (five career, one season), and Iosua (four career, three season).
Gabby Rawson has recorded one double-double in her career.
HONORS: Emily Vander Weide was named to the seven-team Stanislaus State Labor Day Volleyball Tournament. For the third time in her career,
Gabby Rawson was named the CCAA Defensive Player of the Week for the week of August 28-September 3 and the week of September 4-10. She has been named the Defensive Player of the Week five times during her career as a Warrior. Rawson was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Denali State Bank Ice Block Classic in Alaska.
AMONGST THE CONFERENCE LEADERS: Gabby Rawson leads the CCAA with her 286 total digs and 5.72 digs per set average.
Eyriana Eatmon also leads the CCAA with her 26 service aces and 0.52 service per set average.
Alex Byrd is the league leader with 13 total blocks. She is second in blocks per set (1.16), second in total blocks (59), and tied for second with 46 block assists.

Lexi Pagani leads the team with her 147 kills, 186 digs, and 14 service aces. Megan Crecullus has a team leading 276 assists while Fane Paua has a team high 24 total blocks.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State leads the all-time series with the Pioneers 13-1. The two teams each won on the other's court last season. Stan State won in four in Hayward on Oct. 20, 2022, behind
Haley Burdo's 25 assists and
Gabby Rawson's 16 digs and four service aces. The Pioneers won in four in Turlock on Sept. 24, 2022. Rawson had 25 digs while Burdo added 12 digs and 20 assists and
Eyriana Eatmon had 12 digs and 15 assists.
UPDATE ON THE OTTERS: Cal State Monterey Bay is 5-8 overall and 2-4 in the CCAA after going 2-0 last week with a three-set win over Cal Poly Humboldt and a four-set win over Sonoma State. Kaylie Honberger has a team leading 138 kills and Ashley Vanderpan leads the team with her 421 assists. Kaila Uota has a team high 23 service aces and 158 digs. Kea Veenendaal leds CSUMB with her 43 total blocks.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Cal State Monterey Bay leads the all-time series with the Warriors 21-15. Each team won on their home court last season. The Warriors won in Turlock in four on Sept. 17, 2022, behind
Gabby Rawson's 26 digs and
Haley Burdo's 26 assists. The Otters won in four in Seaside on Oct. 28, 2022, despite
Ellison Weaver's 10 kills and
Eyriana Eatmon's double-double (16 assists, 11 digs).
EDUCATION DAY: Stan State's match with Chaminade will start at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 9. This will be Education Day as students from Brown and Crowell Elementary Schools will be in attendance. Prior to the match at 11 a.m., the students will be on the Stan State Intramural Field participating in some physical education activities.
UPDATE ON THE SILVERSWORDS: Chaminade is 13-2 overall and 2-2 in the PacWest entering its matches this weekend in the Bay Area and Central Valley. The nationally ranked Silverswords had their 12-match winning streak snapped in their four-set loss at Point Loma on Sept. 21. They went 1-1 last weekend defeating Azusa Pacific in four and losing in four to Concordia Irvine. Ajack Maluai is leading the way with her 200 kills and 27 service aces while Hula Crisostomo has a team high 261 digs. Lizanyela has a team high 44 blocks. Leilani Ama leads the team with her 464 assists.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Chaminade has won the only meeting between the two teams in four sets last season on Aug. 26, 2022, in Honolulu,
Haley Burdo had 24 assists and 11 digs and
Gabby Rawson added 19 digs and 10 assists to lead the way for Stan State.
Alex Byrd recorded nine blocks and
Ellison Weaver had 11 kills.
