O'ahu, Hawaii – In a season opener on the islands, Stan State got their first team win against Chaminade University following five set sweep wins in combined doubles and singles play. 
 
SINGLES: Set sweeps for the Warriors came at the hands of Amber Huk (6-0, 6-0), Annabelle Mulick (6-0, 6-0), Zuzanna Dziewiecka (6-0, 6-0), Alyssa Tay (6-0, 6-0), and Jaedyn Hendryx (6-0, 6-0). Emma Yu managed to get the last of six Stan State wins after going 6-2 and 6-1 against her opponent.
 
DOUBLES: Zuzanna Dziewiecka/Annabelle Mulick and Tay Cazarin/Kate Bolton were the two duos who capped off the team's doubles efforts against the Silverswords. Cazarin and Bolton let one game get away from them but managed to secure a 6-1 win, while Dziewiecka and Mulick grabbed the last 6-0 victory to cap off day one of competition.

UP NEXT: The group stays in O'ahu for another day, this time facing Hawaii Pacific University at 11:00am HT / 1pm PT.
