AMONGST THE CCAA LEADERS: Still the best shot-blocking team in the conference, Stan State is averaging 3.82 denials per game. They have held on to their 2
nd place spot in steals per game (10.27) after picking up 17 in their last game against the Seawolves.
Makayla Rose's 19.4 ppg is still the best scoring average in the CCAA. She is ranked 2
nd in the conference in steals, averaging 3.1 per game in conference play which puts her 23
rd on the national rankings.
Joia Armstrong's 1.1 blocks per game has her in the #5 spot in the conference, followed by
Aunika Hornung and
Lyric Richardson at #15 and #17.
CAL STATE LA: The Golden Eagles have a 15-6 overall record so far this season, sitting them in 4
th place in the conference standings. They are coming off of a five-game winning streak and are the #2 ranked offense in the CCAA, averaging 72.8 ppg as a collective. Junior guard Nicole Flennaugh leads her team's scoring charge, averaging 15.6 ppg. She also leads the conference in made three's this season.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Cal State LA has gone an even 14-14 against Stan State, dating back to 2008. Their last matchup was back in December, where the Golden Eagles took the victory on the road.
CAL STATE SAN MARCOS: The #19 Cougars are 2
nd in the conference this season, right behind the #10 ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros at 17-3. They are the #2 rated defense this year, holding their opponents to 58.5 ppg and are the most efficient shooting team from the field, three-point line, and charity stripe. Reshirt senior Dynnah Buckner leads her team in scoring, averaging 13.0 ppg.
ALL-TIME SERIES: Cal State San Marcos won four of their last six games against the Warriors since 2019. Stanislaus State was defeated in their most recent meeting this season by 11.
